Privacy Policy
This site is published by the hotel at 12 rue de l'Aspic, 30000 Nîmes, France. Anything on this page can be raised with the desk on +33 4 66 21 84 30 or at [email protected].
What is not here
This site has no booking engine, payment page, account or login, so much of what a privacy notice normally has to describe does not happen here, and that is why this one is short.
Reading the pages
Nothing identifying is collected. No analytics or advertising script loads before you answer the bar, and none loads at all if you decline.
Two entries in your browser
06_nimes_age_ok: written once you answer the age question, so it is asked once per device.06_nimes_consent: written when you answer the cookie bar, so the answer holds.
Both are local storage. They stay in your browser, they carry no identifier, and clearing your browsing data removes them. A browser that blocks storage breaks nothing; you are just asked on each visit.
Server logs
The host records the request, the time, the page and the browser string. Ordinary hosting, kept thirty days, then overwritten.
Writing to us
The form carries a name, an email address, a telephone number if you give one, dates if you have them, and your message. It arrives at the desk as email and is filed with the booking correspondence for two years, then deleted.
Analytics and advertising
None today. If a tag is added it will be Google Analytics 4 and a Google Ads tag, loading only for readers who accepted. Consent Mode v2 sets all four signals to denied in the head of every page before any other script runs.
Lawful basis under the GDPR
- Consent for analytics and advertising, given at the bar and withdrawable from the footer.
- Steps at your request for the contact form.
- Legitimate interest for server logs, in a site that stays up and is not abused.
Who else sees it
The hosting company, the email provider, and Google for the tags above once consented to. Nothing is sold and no guest list goes to anyone for marketing.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, and the right to leave instructions about what happens to your data after your death, which French law provides for. Write to the address above or to [email protected]. We answer within one month and do not charge. The CNIL takes complaints.
Where it is kept
On servers inside the European Economic Area. Nothing above involves a transfer outside it, except the Google tags, which exist only with your consent.
Children
This site is not meant for children, and the vaulted room is for over-18s. Nothing knowingly collected from a child is kept; if you think a child has used the form, tell the desk and it will be deleted.
Changes
The date on this page moves when the text does, and anything material is flagged on the front page for a month.
